Learning Pictures – Dawn Langley’s OCA Learning Log. Student Number 510320

When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.

Learning Pictures came about as a result of my renewed interest in photography and is home to my Open College of the Arts (OCA) coursework and general musings.

I am now working on my second course – Context and Narrative and that work is featured here.

Learning Pictures features:

  • Assignments: work submitted for formal assessment by the OCA. This section is divided into three parts (please use the drop down menu) – the work produced for each assignment; my reflections on the assignments; tutor feedback including my responses
  • My Learning Log: reflections and thoughts about my learning as the courses progress
  • Exercises: the results of the exercises undertaken during my courses
  • Research: reflections on the work of other photographers, research visits, reading, and reviews etc.

Throughout my OCA courses I am also using my Pinterest Boards as a source of inspiration and a space to keep interesting work and ideas I come across.
